District Nurses Afternoon Tea and Information Sharing

The Queen’s Nursing Institute is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and has challenged current district nurses teams to make contact with past colleagues in order to support and motivate able retired colleagues to assist in some voluntary activities.

Guernsey’s district nurses decided to meet this challenge and their initial meeting was held recently at Les Cotils. It took the form of an informal afternoon tea, at which nurses shared experiences and anecdotes. It proved to be an entertaining and informative trip down Memory Lane.

Little Extras Trust sponsored the catering for this event.
