The trustees have been delighted to add a little sparkle to the lives of the residents at the Duchess of Kent. They now receive the Daily Sparkle, a reminiscence magazine that is being funded by the trust.
Bridgette Loveridge the Manager at Duchess of Kent House has told us that is is being “of great benefit to the residents and staff as it give ideas and suggestion of what to ask and is easy for the residents to just pick up and read.
It has also been used by relatives as it helps to give them ideas of what they can talk about with their loved ones”
She has sent me a copy and when I have worked out how to get it onto the website I will upload it, so that you can see for yourselves!
